EmPower New York
EmPower New York provides no-cost energy efficiency solutions to income-eligible New Yorkers. Nearly 135,000 of your neighbors are saving energy and saving money with EmPower New York — without spending a dime. Free energy upgrades include but are not limited to:
- Home energy assessment to identify areas of possible energy improvements
- Tips on how to save energy
- Installation of high-efficiency lighting
- Attic and wall insulation
- Replacement of old, inefficient refrigerators and freezers
Assisted Home Performance
AHP (assisted home performance) will cover 50% of any currently approved energy efficiency measure that is offered through NYSERDA. The AHP is a subsidy that does not have to be paid back but will reduce the total cost of any measure performed by simply taking 50% off of the total cost up to $4000 maximum subsidy amount.
